(1) 3-Cycle-Valve
SPRING FRESH uses a non corrosive single lever valve that operates in three cycles: filtration, regeneration, and rinse. The water flow rates during these phases are controlled by built in flow restrictors. These valves are non corrosive and are easy to operate.

(2)Pressure Vessels
SPRING FRESH uses non-corrosive composite and Fiber Reinforced Polyester pressure vessels. These multi-wall light weight vessels are capable of withstanding pressures up to 10 Bar ( 1 50 psi) and being non-corrosive arc guaranteed to give long lasting performance. SPRING FRESH also offers models in Stainless Steel (SS316) Vessels

(3) Iron Removing Catalyst
The SPRING FRESH range of' iron removers incorporate special filter catalysts which oxidizes the soluble iron salts to insoluble iron oxides which immediately precipitate. Manganese salts arc also removed by the catalyst by this process. As the filtration media acts as a catalyst it is not consumed in the process and has a very long life.

In the Service the water containing e salts passes through the filter column which is filled with the catalyst filters. The catalyst filter oxidizes the iron and manganese salts thereby forming insoluble salts of iron and manganese which precipitate and are removed by the filtering action of' the media bed. The raw water must contain dissolved oxygen for this process to operate. Chemical regeneration is not required. Periodically the valve is set to he regeneration mode and the iron and manganese salts are removed from the filter bed and the media is re-graded. The valve is then set on a rinse mode whereby the media is recompressed to provide efficient filtration.
